Сovers are better than the originals

Hello,

Картинка с тегом «beautiful, why, and boyfriend»

Very often people try to sing famous songs and the fruits of their work we can see on YouTube or some show. But sometimes popular artists are not afraid to take a song from their colleagues. Sometimes they do make a hit, sometimes not. Sometimes sung the song becomes so popular that everyone forgets that this is a cover and somewhere in there the original.

Here's the famous songs are covers which turned out to be stronger, more powerful, better, and sometimes just as good as the original version. The list is of course subjective. So share your favourite cover versions in the comments.

Let's start with MUSE "FEELING GOOD"

 (Cy Grant (1964))

Many people know the song by Nina Simone, but the first time she was filled with Cy Grant. However, only a rock trio Muse have managed to make this song wildly popular. The song is a regular part of their show.

THE BEATLES with "TWIST AND SHOUT"

(original The Top Notes (1961))

The song was first performed by a group of Top Notes. Subsequently, the song has been perapalas, including the Beatles and only in their performance of this song became world-famous.

FEED ME with WHAT YOU KNOW (original Two Door Cinema Club)

WHITNEY HOUSTON - I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU

A powerful bestseller Whitney Houston. Hard to believe, but this cover version. It was originally a single by American country music singer Dolly Parton. Parton made several versions of their musical offspring, but the worldwide success of Whitney could only envy.

THE BEACH BOYS – CALIFORNIA DREAMIN' (original The Mamas & The Papas)

AEROSMITH - COME TOGETHER (original The Beatles)

The guys from Aerosmith were able to do the impossible: they sung this song better than sing it themselves "The Beatles." It was one of the first and most successful cover versions of Come Together.

NICKELBACK – WE WILL ROCK YOU (original The Queen)

Originally the song was sung by The Queen, and later covered by Nickelback. Let's face it, not Queen, but definitely the best cover on this song.

MARILYN MANSON - SWEET DREAMS (original Eurythmics)
Marilyn Manson has tried to echo the legendary Sweet Dreams. He took a sensational hit and made it slower, murkier, but sensual. It is impossible to say which version is better, but a cover of Manson definitely deserves attention.

GUNS N’ ROSES — KNOCKIN' ON HEAVEN'S DOOR (original Bob Dylan)

An example of how a cover version leaves far behind the original performance. Song belongs to the same Bob Dylan. Well sung Dylan and now many are doing covers of their way of performance "Knockin' on heaven's door".

And finally, my favourite cover which inspired me to make this article - LINDSEY PAVAO's "SAY AAH"
(original Trey Songz)

Be cool and Have fun,
Darie
