A Streetcar Named Desire [TO WATCH OR NOT TO WATCH]

Hello,

Картинка с тегом «black and white and desire»

Recently, I decided to know more about Marlon Brando and his filmography. So I started with "A Streetcar Named Desire". This is drama about relationships between different people: strong and weak people, misunderstanding between people.

WATCH

1. Plot

The film is about woman who came to New Orleans to see her sister and started to live her sister. Blanche is a main character, Stella is Blanche's sister and Stanley is Stella's husband. The film is about relationship between Blanche and Stanley. The film is interesting because of the conflict between the brutality of Stanley and sensuality of Blanche

2. I think I can always talk about Vivien Leigh and Marlon Brando. Vivien have won an Oscar for role and I absolutely sure that it was a well-deserved win. The role had a huge influence on her life later. I saw the pain of hell on her face. I understood her, believed every word that she said. And no one understands. Marlon Brando — the personification of horror, genuine cruelty. The acting is amazing.

3. The film is cruel, very cruel. The cries of hell. I was just in shock from the horror. But it is a masterpiece. Old masterpiece that you have to look.

4. I love this movie. Modern blockbusters where the action is over before it started, boring compared to the movies of the fifties. People are interested in the people themselves. What could be more fascinating than the crazy eyes, Blanche turned to the woman selling flowers for a funeral?

I don't know why you sholdn't watch it. If you love cinematography - you should watch it. If you love Marlon Brando - you should watch it. If you love Vivien Leigh - you should watch it. It's a good movie. It's the best movie. You don't waste your time.

Paper Towns [TO WATCH OR NOT TO WATCH]

Hello,

Картинка с тегом «gif, paper towns, and cara delevingne»

I've watched video with James Corden, Dave Franko and Cara Delevingne - their rap battle I decided to know more about Cara' acting skills.

That's why I'm telling you now about Paper Towns.

«It is so hard to leave — until you leave. And then it is the easiest goddamned thing in the world».

TO WATCH

1. PLOT

The reason why plot is so good because book is good. I mean if you love John Green's books you should watch this film.

2. ATMOSPHERE

Картинка с тегом «gif, john green, and paper towns»

I like this film because it makes me feel very relax and calm but at the same time it reminds me to be positive, don't be afraid and live life to he fullest. Also, I think if this year would be your last year at school you should watch it

3. ACTORS

We could see Nat Wolff in the Fault of Our Stars and now we can see him in Paper Towns. I think he was cute and very professional. Cara Delevingne was Cara. I haven't read the book and I don't know how Margo behaves in the book but in the movie I absolutely sure Cara was amazing. I don't know why everyone says that Cara can't play, especially in the film. She was crazy, easy going, stubborn, loving the freedom like, I always think, she is in a real life.

Картинка с тегом «gif and paper towns»

"People are different when you can smell them and see them up close, you know?"

4. Ansel Elgort

Yes, he makes appearance as cameo and I was really happy to see him. I don't think that it's important reason to watch the movie if you are not a huge fan of Ensel. But it's a very pleasant moment anyway.

NOT TO WATCH

1. I didn't get a point of the film. In the beginning of the film I've thought that it could teach me something, tell something special but because of the pursuit of Margo, I lost the meaning of the film or it wasn't there

Картинка с тегом «dance, gif, and crazy»

2.  You know, the film is not perfect, it's just another product for teenagers. It doesn't surprise you but it can give you the feel of  lightness. If you need something serious it's not right kind of film.

Watch or not to watch as always you decide. If you need a relaxing movie for evening, it's a good choice. If you like the movies based on John Green's books, it's a good choice. But The Fault In Our Stars is better than Paper Towns.

Things You Can Learn From The Book "JONATHAN LIVINGSTON SEAGULL"

Hello,

Yesterday I read the book about seagull who really wants to how to fly not just because it helps him to find food but just for fun. His name is Jonathan Livingston. And I want to tell you 8 things that you can learn from his story. It's a small story that I think everyone should read because it helps you understand who you really are and what you want. The story is not about seagulls, is about people and their relationships.

1. Believe in yourself.

Sometimes it's hard. OK, it's always to believe in yourself, believe that you are worth to have everything that you want. But Jonathan believes and after all he makes his dreams come true.

“You have the freedom to be yourself, your true self, here and now, and nothing can stand in your way".”

2. Believe in your dreams

It's not the same as believe in yourself. Jonathan had doubts about his dream. He tries hard but nothing worked and he was disappointed in the dream...

"There’s no way around it. I am a seagull. I am limited by nature. If I were meant to learn so much about flying, I’d have charts for brains. If I were meant to fly at speed I’d have falcon’s short wings, and live on mice instead of fish. My father was right. I must forget this foolishness. I must fly home to the Flock and be content as I am, as a poor limited seagull."

but only for a moment

3. Don't listen anyone

I think there is need no words to explain this. Just don't listen. They know nothing about you, your dreams, your goals

“Jonathan sighed. The price of being misunderstood, he thought. They call you devil or they call you god.”

Sometimes even your parents don't understand you

“Why ,Jon ,why?” His mother asked. “Why is it so hard to be like the rest of the flock, Jon? Why can’t you leave low flying to the pelicans, the albatross? Why don’t you eat? Jon, you are bone and feathers!"

4. Make your dreams come true.

Do everything to get closer to your dream. Do everything even they seem impossible because all things are possible until they are proved impossible and even the impossible may only be so, as of now. Try over and over again.

"He felt better for his decision to be just another one of the  Flock.
There would be no ties now to the force that  had  driven  him  to  learn,
there would be no more challenge and no more failure. And it  was  pretty,
just to stop thinking, and fly through the dark, toward the  lights  above
the beach."

5. Be a coach

Help people who want to know things that you've already known. Teach other people who want to do the same things you do

"Jonathan stayed and worked with the new birds coming in, who were all
very bright and quick with their lessons. But the old feeling  came  back,
and he couldn't help but think that there might be one or two  gulls  back
on Earth who would be able to learn, too. How  much  more  would  he  have
known by now if Chiang had come to him on the day that he was Outcast!"

6. You always can find people who understand you

When you what you love you finally find people who love the same things as you do. They can be your friends. They can teach you some things that you don't know.

He recovered to level flight and was  quiet  for  a  time  before  he spoke.
"Very well," he said, "who are you?"
"We're from your Flock, Jonathan. We are your  brothers."  The  words
were strong and calm. "We've come to take you higher, to take you home."
"Home I have none. Flock I have none. I am Outcast. And we fly now at
the peak of the Great Mountain Wind. Beyond a few hundred feet, I can lift
this old body no higher."
"But you can Jonathan. For you have learned. One school is  finished,
and the time has come for another to begin."

7. Be obsessed with your idea

"Each of us is in truth an idea of the Great Gull, an unlimited idea of freedom"

8. Don't let your dreams just be dreams

“Don’t believe what your eyes are telling you. All they show is limitation. Look with your understanding. Find out what you already know and you will see the way to fly.”

Flowers for Algernon

Hello,

Today I want to tell you about the wonderful novel is Flowers for Algeron written by Daniel Keyes. Keyes created a masterpiece. I will not argue that the author selected topic that remains a rare nowadays, not at all. But the Keyes wrote the story much earlier, that is one of the first to develop this theme so widely.

Happy to tell you why this book is truly unique.

First, it is written in the form of a person's diary. Secondly, Daniel has kept the spelling and punctuation of the author of this diary! It would seem, what's the trick? And it is that this diary belongs to Charly Gordon is a young guy with a very low level of intelligence. The guy became a participant-volunteer medical experiment to increase the efficiency of the brain. Well and, thirdly, Keyes opened this topic not as do the current authors. He wrote from a position of kindness and sincerity. Humanity.

I admired of the story of man who changing from the inside. Charly grows wiser in all directions simultaneously, and these changes are simply amazing! Really believe that he is not the figment of imagination of a talented author, but a real, once living people, and you're holding his report. The report should be noted, very detailed and diligent, with sparkling dialogue and important details. And the more intelligent Charly becomes, the more detail he gives us, the more he adds his own thoughts and not just telling about what happened.

Of course, at first, to read his meager records it is very difficult, not even because of the fact that he makes mistakes in every word. Here everything is complicated by the incoherence, primitive Charly's thinking.

Throughout the series, Charly not only learns to write correctly, but begins to express more smoothly. In the book, several subplots, there is romance, and career, and the theme of friends, and the subject of reverent attitude to the experimental mouse.

Reading "Flowers for Algernon", I kept thinking about the fact that sometimes people with low IQ are more sensitive, kind than pundits and geniuses. To be honest, I like stupid Charly more than a genius Charly.

The book makes you think about what's most important in life - about love, about humanity, about relationships between people, about what really matters, and spend time on what is not necessary.

July Inspiration

Hello,

Картинка с тегом «gif, july, and summer»

July ends and August is getting closer and closer. So, I decided to tell you about differnet things which inspired me in July. I think that it was important month because the exams finally passed and you can just relax and understand what you want to do and finally did some things that you wanted to the year but you didn't have enough time. In July I've read some books and watched films that I want to read and watch for so long. Of course I've found excellent music and musicians. I want to tell you every inspiring things in July. Welcome!

Let's start with MOVIES.

In this month I decided to know better Quentin Tarantino's movies. I've written about Hateful Eight but also I've watched Inglourious Basterds, Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction. I want to say that Inglourious Basterds is my favourite Tarantino's movies. I didn't expect that it would be some amazing. I hope that I will watch other his movies and know well any other director.

Картинка с тегом «art, gif, and quentin tarantino»

Also I watched Horrible Bosses 2; Wanted with Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy; a very interesting story about God and his family which live in Brussels - The Brand New Testament (Le Tout Nouveau Testament)Rabbit Without Ears (Keinohrhasen) with Til Schweiger; The Three Musketeers.

SERIES.

Картинка с тегом «cast, gif, and jane the virgin»

I've said it once and I said it again I'm in love with Jane the Virgin. I'm looking for the next season.

BOOKS.

Картинка с тегом «fashion, confessions of a shopaholic, and ny»

In the beginning of month I've told you about book of shopaholic is SHOPAHOLIC ABROAD. It's the secong book in the series and after that I decided to read the first one (why not) is The Secret Dreamworld of a Shopaholic or Confessions of a Shopaholic. It's incredible about (if you didn't guess) shopaholic. Let me introduce - Rebecca Bloomwood and she adores to go shopping and she has a "little" problem with debt. I think you know the book becouse of film Confessions of a Shopaholic with Isla Fisher and Hugh Dancy.

The other book is 1984. It's so undescribable book but it's very impressed me. The events described in the book seems so close and so far away, so true and false at the same time. All I can say is you should read it.
