A Streetcar Named Desire [TO WATCH OR NOT TO WATCH]

Recently, I decided to know more about Marlon Brando and his filmography. So I started with "A Streetcar Named Desire". This is drama about relationships between different people: strong and weak people, misunderstanding between people.

WATCH

1. Plot

The film is about woman who came to New Orleans to see her sister and started to live her sister. Blanche is a main character, Stella is Blanche's sister and Stanley is Stella's husband. The film is about relationship between Blanche and Stanley. The film is interesting because of the conflict between the brutality of Stanley and sensuality of Blanche


2. I think I can always talk about Vivien Leigh and Marlon Brando. Vivien have won an Oscar for role and I absolutely sure that it was a well-deserved win. The role had a huge influence on her life later. I saw the pain of hell on her face. I understood her, believed every word that she said. And no one understands. Marlon Brando — the personification of horror, genuine cruelty. The acting is amazing.

3. The film is cruel, very cruel. The cries of hell. I was just in shock from the horror. But it is a masterpiece. Old masterpiece that you have to look.

4. I love this movie. Modern blockbusters where the action is over before it started, boring compared to the movies of the fifties. People are interested in the people themselves. What could be more fascinating than the crazy eyes, Blanche turned to the woman selling flowers for a funeral?

I don't know why you sholdn't watch it. If you love cinematography - you should watch it. If you love Marlon Brando - you should watch it. If you love Vivien Leigh - you should watch it. It's a good movie. It's the best movie. You don't waste your time.

Paper Towns [TO WATCH OR NOT TO WATCH]

I've watched video with James Corden, Dave Franko and Cara Delevingne - their rap battle I decided to know more about Cara' acting skills.

That's why I'm telling you now about Paper Towns.

«It is so hard to leave — until you leave. And then it is the easiest goddamned thing in the world».

TO WATCH

1. PLOT

The reason why plot is so good because book is good. I mean if you love John Green's books you should watch this film.

2. ATMOSPHERE

I like this film because it makes me feel very relax and calm but at the same time it reminds me to be positive, don't be afraid and live life to he fullest. Also, I think if this year would be your last year at school you should watch it

3. ACTORS

We could see Nat Wolff in the Fault of Our Stars and now we can see him in Paper Towns. I think he was cute and very professional. Cara Delevingne was Cara. I haven't read the book and I don't know how Margo behaves in the book but in the movie I absolutely sure Cara was amazing. I don't know why everyone says that Cara can't play, especially in the film. She was crazy, easy going, stubborn, loving the freedom like, I always think, she is in a real life.

"People are different when you can smell them and see them up close, you know?"

4. Ansel Elgort

Yes, he makes appearance as cameo and I was really happy to see him. I don't think that it's important reason to watch the movie if you are not a huge fan of Ensel. But it's a very pleasant moment anyway.


NOT TO WATCH

1. I didn't get a point of the film. In the beginning of the film I've thought that it could teach me something, tell something special but because of the pursuit of Margo, I lost the meaning of the film or it wasn't there

2.  You know, the film is not perfect, it's just another product for teenagers. It doesn't surprise you but it can give you the feel of  lightness. If you need something serious it's not right kind of film.


Watch or not to watch as always you decide. If you need a relaxing movie for evening, it's a good choice. If you like the movies based on John Green's books, it's a good choice. But The Fault In Our Stars is better than Paper Towns.

Ice Age: Collision Course [TO WATCH OR NOT TO WATCH]

Oh, hello mammals!

Hello, 

If you are tired of the hot summer, you can watch a new part of the Ice Age. As always, our well-known team has unforeseen troubles and how they always have to save their skins. Generally classic.

This time the threat has become more global and unavoidable for our heroes than any previous, so interest has arisen. The inhabitants of the ice age do not live in peace, this time they will have to seek shelter from the asteroid, which with great speed approaching the Earth.

TO WATCH

A special highlight in the picture was made with excessive imagination of the creators, which directly can be considered creative. I do not consider a disadvantage that every cartoon in the series, except the first, implausible. Still, it's not a documentary about prehistoric animals.

 Here we revealed the secrets of the universe like the rings of Saturn, the red spot on Jupiter, earth phenomena caused by the moon. 

Moreover, it is also encouraging that the creators have not forgotten about the tradition to discover new worlds. In the third part it was an underground world inhabited by dinosaurs, in the fourth — Scratlantis, and then we opened the world under the asteroid, which also is full of beautiful crystals of eternal youth. It's impressive the realism of this new world.

Sid: Everybody has somebody and all I've got is my boyish good looks and this Mariachi band.

  By the way, the animation is simply gorgeous, there's magicians from Blue Sky did a good job. Visuals are attracted to brightness, brilliance, saturation and vibrance, and watch as all of this was pure pleasure.

Including Manny. Diego, Sid and Ellie all left by the wayside. The focus apparently was on Peaches and her new boyfriend — the mammoth Julian. Besides, it can be assumed that the creators were more involved in the presentation of new minor heroes. Thus, most clearly in the tape stood out never losing heart and agile  Buck, funny to colic Sid's granny and flexible and elastic, Shangri Llama. And, of course, everyone's favorite Scrat. Everyone is the fifth time annealed to the full.

Sid: We're gonna stop this thing, baca bing baca boom.

Sid: Forget I said "boom".

Humor, of course, is not as sparkling as it was in the first three movies, but the funny moments were many.  It is not surprising that Scrat and the other minor characters got the lion's share of humor.

NOT TO WATCH

The number of characters in the cartoon just rolls over, the writers do not develop, but simply throws in the story of new characters and is to busy original composition. Here, in addition to the Buck added three Dromaeosaur and a herd of some hippie animal. As they say "NEED MORE CHARACTERS".

Innovation comedy characters are here only for entertainment, and Diego and his friend Shira, it seems generally as extras. In the narrative why it introduced the antagonists performing again, just a humorous feature.

Sid: Could you help me, please? My nose is dangerously close to my butt.

With the addition of the fantastic, the plot becomes more ridiculous. If the first part was attended by drama, there is intrigue from the get-go, and character development occurs.


Still, have the feeling that the authors tell nothing more, just began to think of absolutely unrealistic stories. It seems that sometimes the authors simply repeated, and it was all seen and known. Perhaps this cartoon — farewell and bring finally to the point stories of the characters, and maybe new performance.

"Ice Age: Collision Course" is a worthy continuation of the beloved franchise. Although this tape is noticeably inferior to its predecessors, it clings to their best traditions. Pretty funny, nice, bright and colorful cartoon, which is exactly what should be great fun for all ages.

I thought when sitting in the cinema, about how it was a great first part. And truth be told, I really don't want to continue, I want something new, a new nature.

The Legend Of Tarzan [TO WATCH OR NOT TO WATCH]

You are Lord of the Apes, King of the Jungle. Tarzan. Tarzan.

Now I'm very exciting about new movie which tells story about Tarzan. I've thought I am not fan of Tarzan but in one moment I decided to go to the cinema and I was not disappointed. You know, I usually go to cinema when I know actors and want to see them in a new way or the movies are new part but this film wasn't the case. I want to see Christoph Waltz and I expect to watch fights, animals and beautiful views and I've seen.

So let's start with the plot of the film. It begins in Congo where  Léon Rom with army negotiate with the tribe Mbonga about dimonds of Opar which needs to king of Belgium Leopold but Leon Rom should bring Tarzan to tribal leader. But there is a problem John Clayton a.k.a Tarzan is in London. John with his wife Jane have already lived in London for ten years after their return from Africa. John gets an invitation to visit Congo and after much thought he decides to go there. That's how their story begins.

TO WATCH

The beauty of unspoiled nature, which wanted to show the authors, is really amazing. Funny ostriches, gorillas, hippos and crocodiles, elephants — and all this against the background drawn to the smallest detail of nature of the jungle. The work was done really great.

Alexander Skarsgard, who became the new Tarzan, in the beginning, showed himself to be so callous and serious, but then emotions have acquired a new color. Margot Robbie played the brave and the daring Jane,. Samuel L. Jackson wormed his way into the company to relieve the tension. And the highlight of the film was Christoph Waltz. Well played immoral bastard even pleasing to the eye.

The most sincere part of the film is the return of the hero home. Meeting with the grown-up relatives, the genuine joy of being in the untouched hand of civilization places, feeling truly present space around such moments bring unforgettable happiness.

 He is no normal man. He was thought to be an evil spirit, a ghost in the trees. No man ever started with less.

NOT TO WATCH

The main disadvantage of the film is an adaptation "from the beginning". Sometimes it seems that you are watching a prequel, not knowing what was where and where it comes from. Despite the fact that the highlights in the life of Tarzan were revealed in short flashbacks, but for the full picture of this, it seems, is not enough. 

Not revealed to the characters and history of minor characters. No people, no animals. Except that brave  Tarzan's  foster-motherpaid at least some attention. But it's too little! Mom's deserve so much more. And about the wild friends of Tarzan I would be interested to know more, not just to look at his fraternizing with them when meeting with the terse statement "we are friends" or "he had known from a young age"...

There is a very long beginning, for which we are given practically nothing that could catch anything that would tell about the characters a little more. 

The picturesque landscapes of Africa pleasing to the eye, the noisy waterfalls, and the jungle is full of danger. John Clayton, however, is not for nothing that in some point asks you not to call him Tarzan — his place now, not in the wild, and in the House of Lords. Yes, a definite plus, though Tarzan really powerful, he is not invulnerable. And all the scars, pain, injury — will not disappear. "The Legend of Tarzan" — good summer movie entertainment, allowing you to recall the legend of his childhood and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the jungle with the new characters. 

P.S. I'll rewatch the cartoon.

The Hateful Eight [TO WATCH OR NOT TO WATCH]

Today I want to tell you about one of the most gorgeous films of Tarantino. And analyze the pros and cons of a new film - the Hateful Eight.

The films of Quentin Tarantino can be treated differently. They can admire or hate, but still worth to admit that Tarantino makes his movie which is different from others. You can be crazy as a film critic or a snarky fan, describing what Quentin is brilliant and masterpiece paintings which he takes, but still, I think many people agree that his films have something that can catch anyone. Quentin does not seek to please somebody or to please a particular audience, he's just doing his job as he sees and as he wants, and the rest is not his concern.

TO WATCH

PLOT

The action takes place in the United States after the Civil war, when the motley company of the bounty hunter, criminals, mercenaries and the sheriff falls in a blizzard and trying to find shelter. However, among this gallant group of eight is the one who is not who he says he is. It would seem that everything is simple in the extreme. But this is only the beginning.

I think everyone knows that a Tarantino movies have always great CAST. In Eight it works with their proven actors, adding a few new faces.

John Ruth in the performance of Kurt Russell turned out great. A sleek snapper, but at the same time, he is on the side of justice and believes that "hang only need notorious, but notorious need to hang". His prisoner is Daisy Domergue. He slaps and calls her only "bitch". That the Daisy is played by Jennifer Jason Leigh. So to play the vicious gangster is a talent. All her jokes and antics is just top class. Marquis Warren, played by, perhaps, a favorite actor of Quentin — Samuel L. Jackson, also went to glory. Here's someone who just disgusting. Sheriff Chris Mannix — that's just the character for which it is possible to worry, and the villain to call it does not work. The character of Walton Goggins in this film — a huge pleasant surprise. He just plays amazing!

As we know haberdashery is a few more people. One of them is Osvaldo Mobray in the performance of Tim Roth. To say that I love this actor — to say nothing. So it was his appearance in the new film, Tarantino's most looking forward to. The cowboy, Joe Gage, who plays another actor from reservoir dogs — Michael Madsen — not so failed. Terse and, in general, uninteresting fellow, who, he said, goes for Christmas to her mother. And this is all that can be said about this image. The seventh and eighth main characters are Mexican and the old General, the main are not even close. Somehow they are not registered and not remembered. Then, too, in the number of main characters could be included and the coachman O. B. — he's got about as much screen time and the same "interesting" person.

Little of the appearance of Zoe Bell and Channing Tatum are very pleased. I don't like Tatum, but it worked pure magic Tarantino — even mediocre actors play it cool.


MUSIC

Noteworthy is the fact that this is the first film in which the music is written specifically for the film. Of the entire galaxy of composers Tarantino chooses Ennio Morricone. He probably knew that no one else will create THIS kind of music. I can't imagine what could be another music. Music crafted for emphasis, underlining meaningful passages, increasing the tension...

DIALOGUES


Whether there are who think that Tarantino can be boring and uninteresting dialogue? Yes this is his trick! Dialogues, dialogues and dialogues! Yes! The best dialogues in the movie only in the movies Tarantino! It also must be able to repeat the same phrase so that each time she was only saturation and more important!

HUMOUR

With this in our Western is all right, but if you have even a little sophisticated sense of humor, then you are doubly lucky, because even the most violent and bloody moments played so well that he made my sick and twisted mind to laugh!

THE DIVISION OF CHAPTERS

 It gave a feeling that the film is based on some kind of work. And gave the total duration (3 hours) special character, which the film passed in one breath.

PHRASE

They were diluted so long, but a fascinating dialogue. And one of them I can quote:

You wanna know what that sign said, Senior Bob? "No Dogs or Mexicans Allowed." Minnie hung that sign up the day she opened this haberdashery, and it hung over that bar every day until she took it down a little over two years ago. Know why she took it down? She started letting in dogs. 

NOT TO WATCH

Cruelty? After the release of the now legendary series "Game of Thrones" cruelty is difficult to surprise anyone, and Tarantino cruelty already looks childish prattle in comparison with what we saw in the series.


Blood from Tarantino, of course, an indispensable attribute always used masterfully, juicy and to the point, but without causing distraction (not true for the faint of heart;). But why, tell me, what was needed was a bloody fountain, erupting from the poisoned character is one fountain left (could stop), the second to the right, and a couple of fountains in face of Daisy closeup.

What is missing is tension. No discharge, from which the audience would have stood up in anticipation of action.


"Hateful Eight" like a mixture of Thriller, Western and black Comedy. It has some slowness, but also have the dynamics and dialogues related to the plot. In "Eight" makes sense... "the Eight" still good wins... Good with all its half-baked, disgusting, cunning, but a noble, not to betray. Evil walking corpses to save you get what you deserve.

NOW YOU SEE ME 2 [The Magic of Movie]

Hello, 

I want to  tell you about the magical movie. It is so fantastic. I love illusions, hope you too, and the film makes me feel like a child in the circus. I have already written about the first part, you can watch it. I liked the first film and I am in love with the second one but I really need more tricks.


Were all the same the four horsemen, but the lovely Isla Fisher was replaced by a no less beautiful Lizzy Caplan. It did not spoil the film itself, but rather added a bit of humor and a love story into the plot.

J. Daniel Atlas: We are going out with a show people will never forget.

The other three horsemen: Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, all the same amazing. There's no doubt about it. The cast consists simply of actors, whose names we know for a long time and I have no doubt in their professionalism. This Daniel Radcliffe and Morgan Freeman, Mark Ruffalo and Michael Caine.

But the main thing in this film, the magic that the filmmakers were trying to surprise us and something they really managed. The tricks became more complex, more entertaining, more humorous and in more exciting! In the first part of the movie I could not wait for magic, tricks was the less. My favorite scene with the card is just amazing and fantastic. But there are small flaws: the Tricks and illusions that are created in the course of the strip are dazzling, but some of them look too unrealistic that look just expensive special effects. (That's what I call movie magic)

Now to the plot. Since the events of the 1st film was the year that "The Horsemen" had no business hiding in the shadows. Finally, the Eye gives them a job. But not everything goes according to plan, and starts a chain of events that the voltage did not concede the first part. Corporate humor, plot twists of varying degrees of surprise, shocking magic tricks — all this to my relief was still available. The plot keeps in suspense from the beginning to the closing credits. Someone called its stupid, a lot of logical flaws. But I do not agree — the motivation of each character convincingly spelled out and is not disturbed in the course of the film.

I got the pleasure of viewing, I recommend anyone who wants to have a good time. The last openly alludes to the third part, and I of course will wait. I hope that the creators got some ideas for the new movie, because I don't want it ruined in the pursuit of money.

The Breakfast Club (TO WATCH OR NOT TO WATCH)

"The Breakfast Club" is one of the best film about youth, have become true classics among the teenagers.


ADVANTAGES

As in life

The athlete, princess, rebel, nerd, freak — everyone can find a similar type, therefore, empathize with them from the beginning to the end of the film. Now many people are experiencing the same difficulties of life as the characters in the film, realizing that growing up is inevitable.


Dialogues

The dialogues of the characters play a key role in the film. They built the film. Five children trapped Thursday in the library as punishment for various things, they talk about what they did when you lost your virginity, argue, laugh, joke, and quarrel with each other, smoking "weed", a declaration of love, etc.  Everything is so believable.

Humour

or rather the witty responses from the main characters.

John Bender: What's that?
Claire: Sushi.
John Bender: Sushi?
Claire: Rice, raw fish, and seaweed.
John Bender: You won't accept a guy's tongue in your mouth, and you're going to eat that?

Allison Reynolds: Your middle name is Ralph, as in puke, your birth date's March 12th, you're 5'9 and a half, you weigh 130 pounds and your social security number is 049380913.
Andrew Clark: Wow. Are you psychic?
Allison Reynolds: No.
Brian Johnson: Well, would you mind telling me how you know all this about me?
Allison Reynolds: I stole your wallet.

John Bender: Sporto.
Andrew Clark: What?
John Bender: You get along with your parents?
Andrew Clark: Well, if I say yes I'm an idiot, right?
John Bender: You're an idiot anyway. But if you say you get along with your parents, well, you're a liar too.

Andrew: Speak for yourself.
Bender: Do you think I'd speak for you? I don't even know your language.


Actors' Game

Of the actors I would single out Judd Nelson as a scoundrel John and Ally Sheedy in the role of eccentric Alison. They played perfectly. The rest of the actors coped well. It is a pity that none of these five can not be called well-known actors.

DISADVANTAGES

I notice that in the Breakfast Club there is no drama as such. Rather, it's several miniature tragedies intended for the further identification and empathy one separately taken hero.

John Bender in the film is completely opposite to the behavior of his hero. I am in school. Guys like John not forced to come and sit in school for 9 hours (especially on the weekend). The characters are drawn too stereotypicaly teenagers, their actions are questionable, emotional scenes too controversial. The chance to make friends with such a polar temperament in such a situation is simply absurd.

For 8 hours everyone can change the world, fall in love and make friends for the rest of his life. It does not happen.

CONCLUSION

The film does not raise universal issues. The guys share their problems probably faced by many students. Another great movie... Nothing special... no special effects, and all the other bells and whistles. Only one place and ordinary students.  But the film is gorgeous. A magnificent example of a good idea and very skillful execution. A film for all time, anyway. Do not confuse weightlifting and chess players.

And one last piece of advice — never judge a person on first impression, it is always wrong.

CLUELESS [TO WATCH OR NOT OT WATCH]

School in Beverly Hills for rich kids. Every student here has a mobile phone. They buy expensive clothes and drive expensive cars. Teenagers are more concerned about parties and gossip about their classmates. Two recent girlfriends Сher and Dion are boring and decide to take a "gray mouse" from their class and make her a Princess, find to her a rich guy and change her life radically.

WORTH IT

Almost the perfect specimen movie about the school.

"Clueless" is one of those movies, easy, interesting, enjoyable, which is extremely positive and uplifting.

Ah, childhood, childhood! What a frankly stupid teenage priorities were in the 90s.

Well, we have grown up, and dreams on auto-wardrobe, costumes-twos, long tights, cute boys and doing nothing and dreams remained in dreams.

From the first minute you find yourself in a beautiful and sweet world of the main character is Cher, who, although at first glance, she looks like the typical image of the hateful star of the school.  Yellow suit, a cell phone, an expensive car - pushed me on to the idea that the film will be about another rich girl who has no brains, no pity, no goals in life. But still the curiosity took over.

Alicia Silverstone is amazing in this film, though. She is the first Queen of the school, smart, beautiful, a little bit selfish and slightly arrogant, but she is fighting with her disabilities.

Brittany Murphy also is a classic example of a clumsy ugly duckling, who becomes popular.


Love movies of the 90s they have some special atmosphere. And that is another plus of the film. Glitter, wealth, popularity, elegance, style, sophistication.



NOT WORTH IT

Pleased only what was not of vulgarity, and I did not notice the stupidity, although it doesn't mean anything. Movie frankly weak.  And, most importantly, the ending actually go out of curl!
The impression of this film was vague. There is no morality and there’s nothing to learn and nothing to know.

CONCLUSION

Interesting easy movie, but not confused, just should be a little bit easier. I recommend you to watch this movie, because every person should watch it at least once in his life.
