All the jury has its own urgent business and they do not want to think about the fate of this boy. They do not care. They want to quickly reach a verdict on. At the beginning of 11 jurors voted for guilt of the young men. Only one juror wants to look into the matter.
This film shows our prejudices against other people. People can easily condemn the other person because he is different. The problem, which is seen in this film is the herd mentality. When you take someone else's point of view because it's convenient or advantageous.
There were eleven votes for "guilty." It's not easy for me to raise my hand and send a boy off to die without talking about it first.
If you want to vote not guilty, then do it because you're convinced the man is not guilty - not because you've had enough. And if you think he's guilty, then vote that way, or don't you have the guts to do what you think is right?
